I have a passion for decorating, shopping flea markets, garage sales, and crafting. I have browsed and "creeped" many blogs and discover that I have something to share. So after weeks of trying to decide how to get a blog started I am finally here. I'm still learning about the technololgy part (not my strong suit)but I hope to post many pictures of my house before and after, my antique booth, and my ideas on decorating and crafting. I believe everyone deserves to live in a beautiful space and not break the budget to get it!! Looking forward to your feedback, talk to you soon.

New Year, new transformations

Happy New Years!!  Hope you and yours had a great holiday.  My year has started off with a bang. I have moved to a larger space at Mid Cities Antique Mall, and right in the front.  I'm so excited to be so so so visable!!  It's alot of pressure though, I have to keep it looking good and well stocked because it's the first thing you see when you come in the door. So I decided to get more inventory and went to my first auction last week.  It was so much fun, and interesting.  I was obviously the "newbie" I watched for awhile, the auctioneer was so fast....DUH.  I finally got up the courage to raise my card to bid on something.  It was so much fun. I only bid against myself twice :) Joe thought that was hilarious. Very funny. Here are a few of the treasures that I bought.

This is the vanity (mirror is gorgeous)

I bought 2 of these grand dressers.  The storage space is unbelievable.

I couldn't pass this up, it's a Victorian Nursing Chair????  I don't know??? Do you??  It's about 12 inches off the ground why??

This is sturdy vintage round table, it needs some work but I guarantee it will be beautiful.
This is my bedroom chest of drawers after photo.  I love it!!

This is the vanity with mirror.

These are two more pieces that I snatched up, I'll get to them one of these days!

This is the finished buffet that was dark and broken.  I can't find the before shot but trust me it's come a long way baby.

Bed set up in my booth with other pieces.

Well time to get back to my "work" I love it so much, come see my booth at Mid Cities and Golightly's in NRH.  Till next time!! Gwen
